You have got to be kidding me!
Dear Family-
I wanted to introduce you to the latest culinary treat being passed around. There are apparently multiple people lining up to order the following delicacy:
"A bacon-stuffed, bacon-wrapped Italian sausage, covered in Kansas City-style barbecue sauce and rub, and cooked to perfection before being shipped straight to your door."
You can also make the delicacy at home by obtaining 4 pounds of pork and using the following instructions:

I am sure you will have the recipe worked out by the time I get home!
Love you!

Let's Bake a Cake!
Dear Family-
I finally decided to make one of the cake mixes that you so kindly sent me. It was a little more work than normal and required a lot of improvising. The biggest hurdle was the fact that I did not have any kind of cake pan. I ran to the store to see if there was anything disposable, but I was out of luck and was not going to spend $25 on a pan. So, I came home and settled on the broiler pan. It is larger than a cake pan, but it can withstand the oven temperatures. The only real downside was that I ended up with a cake that was only about 3/4 - 1 inch thick. The real trick was making sure that it didn't over cook. Even though the package said 25-30 minutes, this was done in about 20. I used 1 can of frosting and ended up with a really tasty home made treat. Yes, I did share with the neighbors!
Thanks for taking such good care of me!
Love you all!

Your Side, Taken Yet Again...
Unfortunately, she has trouble staying ON the pillows rather than IN the pillows.
I'm never allowed to get lonely...

Something to think about....
Something to think about....
If a man works on himself and develops himself to be worthy, the woman will be his partner. If he doesn't, she will be against him.

Time for reflection....
Well, you might have been wondering where I have been for the last week or so. I took a break from posting as I was gathering my thoughts about what has changed over the last few months. If you ever wondered, I would like to let you know that taking this job in wonderland was not an easy decision to make. It was a world of unkowns and it did not come with a lot of guarantees on what would come next. At the time, I looked at how my life and career were heading and I had realized that I had hit a dead end. I do not think that I was having mid-life crisis or anything like that; I think that I looked around at myself and could not imagine how a lot of things had gotten to where they were. Most of what I saw was of my own doing whether I realized it or not. I was too fat, I had too much debt, and I was not being the type of father or husband I wanted to be. It is not a great place to be when you look around at all that you have and realize that you have not given your all to those that love you and who think that you are their Superman.
I think it was that thought that led me in this direction. Superman wouldn’t just tinker with stuff and try to fix it. He would grab up the world and spin it around in order to save the day. While I can’t spin the world around, I can certainly fix things in big ways. So, has it worked? I think that it has. A lot of stuff is just going to take time as you can only make money so fast. Other things I can see more clearly and I like where they are going. I am rebuilding the relationships with my wife and my kids and enjoy every moment we get to Skype. It is not always perfect, but I know that we are now truly working as husband and wife and as a family on building our future.
Yes, a lot has changed over the last 100 days and I would have to say that it is all for the better.
