Halo is a First person shooter game in which you are are Spartan 2 super-soldier who is genetically modified and wearing a combat suit. You begin the game with your character, Known as the Master Chief, coming out of cryo-sleep on board The Pillar of Autumn that is being attacked by the covenant, a group of aliens bent on the destruction of humans. You then proceed to reek havoc on the covenant boarding party's and meet up with marines and an A.I. known as Cortana and escape on a landing pod which crashes on a recently discovered object and you black out . You have landed/crashed on a ring like object that the covenant call halo. You fight and fight and fight and then when it seems like your winning...you fight some more. You discover a parasite known as the flood, it basically kills things then enters there body and makes them jello like and then uses the body to kill more people. You eventually find and object called the index and almost activate the ring which you believe to be a device to stop the flood. Right before you activate the ring Cortana appears and says no don't and explains to you that the ring simply destroys the floods food, which is anything living. So you say hey I am living and proceed to make your escape. You then get the idea to blow up the wreckage that is the crashed Pillar of Autumns main reactor, which is like blowing up a pile of hydrogen bombs. So you fight hoards of flood who's spores are known as Lima beans. Plus an army of elites , grunts and jackals. You eventually blow up the core and have to escape before it blows up, so you hop in the waiting warthog and drive to a longsword Space ship docked inside the ship . Unfortunately you don't get to fly it or the pelican drop ship.
I have been dubbed "Superman" by my family and friends and the nickname stuck. I am using this blog as a way to keep in touch with my family back home in Eastern Washington as I work overseas for almost a year. UPDATED: Almost a year turned into almost three years. With the economy faltering, I've felt lucky to have this job, but it has been a challenge to keep our family upbeat and thriving with this separation.
Erin
After 20 years, we're apart for the first time. I'll be sharing our daily lives with Superman as a way to keep him up to date with life at home here in Eastern Washington.
Charming
At 19, our Prince Charming is the oldest of our three children and is on his way. Fiercely independent, Charming has finished college and has moved into his own place. Unrolling the kite string even further, we watch him bend, dip and soar with the currents of life.
Valiant
At 14, Prince Valiant is our brave warrior, our dreamer, and our goof ball. Beneath all that, he's our observer and can knock you over with the things he notices about the world we live in.
Buttercup
The baby of the family, Princess Buttercup holds her own in the face of two older brothers and looks cute while she's doing it. We call her the animal whisperer because they just love her and she loves them. She is definitely the apple of Superman's eye and misses him a lot.

I know I did very well no need to compliment me.
Don't worry kiddo I won't :-) Love you!!!
So, I guess this is not the point at which I point out the run ons and lack of punctuation? Hmmm?
I think you did a great job on the post, but you know your mom is right. Think of it as a real inconvenient truth....
